Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA Style).

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must contain between 5,000 and 8,000 words.
  • The maximum number of authors per manuscript is three authors.
  • The manuscript must be written in academic English.
  • The manuscript should be prepared using a clear, readable 12-point font with single line spacing.
  • Authors must provide 5–6 keywords related to the study.
  • References must be formatted according to American Psychological Association style (7th edition).

Manuscript Structure

Submitted manuscripts should include the following sections:

  1. Title of the Paper
  2. Author(s) Name and Institutional Affiliation
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review
  7. Research Methodology
  8. Findings and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. References (APA Style Only)

Double-Blind Peer Review Policy

JIDMC follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity and research quality.

All submitted manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by qualified reviewers and members of the Editorial Board. Authors must ensure that the manuscript does not contain any information revealing their identity within the main document.

Author names, affiliations, and contact information must be provided separately on the cover page only.

Submission Requirements

Authors are requested to submit the following materials:

  • The manuscript file in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) format.
  • A signed cover letter declaring that the manuscript is original and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • A short author biography including:
    • Institutional affiliation
    • Email address
    • Academic position
    • ORCID ID (if available)
  • Permission letters for any copyrighted material used in the manuscript, including figures, tables, or assessment tools borrowed from other sources

Citation Requirements

Authors are encouraged to engage with relevant scholarly literature, including, where appropriate, articles previously published in the Journal of Intelligent Digital Media and Communication (JIDMC). Citations should always be based on scholarly relevance and contribute meaningfully to the manuscript.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
  • The submission file is prepared in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format.
  • All references and citations are provided according to APA style.
  • URLs and DOI links are included where available.
  • The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
  • The manuscript is formatted using a clear, readable 12-point font with single line spacing.
  • Tables, figures, and illustrations are inserted within the text at appropriate locations.
  • The authors have reviewed relevant literature and, where appropriate, considered previously published articles in JIDMC.

     

Articles

This section publishes original research articles, review papers, and theoretical studies within the scope of the Journal of Intelligent Digital Media and Communication (JIDMC). All submissions undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review before publication.

All submitted manuscripts and peer-review reports are treated as confidential documents. Access to these materials is restricted to authorized editorial personnel and assigned reviewers involved in the editorial process.

The journal implements appropriate administrative and technical measures to safeguard personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
